Superchunk Coasters

Description

Mic-ing out an impressive seventy-three thousandths of an inch, these coasters are one of the thicker items we’ve ever printed. Designed by Jonny Black at Cast Iron Design, we concepted these gear-shaped coasters as giveaways to commemorate the launch of the website you’re currently viewing. The gear shape also figures into our identity (see the forthcoming post on our newest business cards), and was a fun challenge to produce. Also challenging: printing a full-flood with bleed and reversed imagery on extraordinarily-toothy paper. By this point, it’s pretty much a guarantee that Cast Iron pitches us designs just to see us sweat… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
